Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Chase!!

We celebrated Chase's third birthday at Glenlake Park in Decatur, Georgia on Sunday May 22nd. It was a beautiful day, 90 degrees, but breezy and beautiful...because it was Chase's birthday of course. ha  Actually, it was perfect. The kids (and Chase especially) had a great time on the playground and soccer field. And this...is all that matters. My wonderful girlfriends also drove out from east bumble with their children which was a wonderful surprise - thanks ladies!!Chase was a bit hesitant at first about the whole party and hid under one of the tables for about 10 minutes, but once he saw all the Spiderman stuff and some friends come, he was ready to play.  This, by the way, is his second Spiderman birthday party...at only the ripe age of THREE!!

As you can probably tell, Chase had a blast! If you want to see more pictures, just click on the link below:

Chase was overly spoiled this year- of course. He had a special trip with Gam Gam to the Build A Bear store and picked out his very own Atlanta Braves Bear. Gam Gam put a special recording in it for him and he loves it.  You can tell since he pushes the voice button at least 100 times a day!
It is really sweet. However, sometimes hearing it at 3 am, not so sweet. Ha Ha
Thanks Gam Gam and Gidu! :)

Papa Scott and Papa Andy got Chase a special surprise as well.  His very first BIKE!
Toy Story 3- his favorite.  He was very excited and hopped in the bike as soon as he saw it.  Thanks Dads.!

Thanks friends and family for all your efforts in making it to the party (and helping!!) and for celebrating Chase's 3rd Birthday with us!

Happy Birthday my little Sweet Pea! Boy are you a handful, but you sure are sweet and you are so much fun. Thank you for all the hugs, the kisses and I love you's...they get me through every single day.

Dancing Queen...

Hannah had her first dance recital a few weeks ago as well as her last day of pre-school. It was a great school year and I could not be happier we found such a wonderful place for her to go to school and meet some new friends. She enjoyed her first extra curricular activity- Dance. She went every Wednesday during the whole school year and finally we got to see her perform. It was beautiful. Only 15 dancers performed with their teacher, but you could tell they were serious and you could tell they knew exactly what they wanted to do, I mean were supposed to do. Ha Ha She said she loved it and that is all that matters. She practiced at home to the beat of her own drum. When I would ask her what something was, she would say...I'm doing my own thing. Is this a sign of things to come?? Who knows. In any case, she enjoys it and shes independent and I guess she will tell me otherwise if so. Ha

Hannah is on bottom left - looking thrilled
The adoring grandparents...again :) What a great year it has been to have them participate and see the kids in all their activities...and grow SO much. Its been wonderful!!

Hannah with Mommy and her BFF, Sabrina :)

Out next activity for the summer...Tennis. :)

A few end of school year pics with her teacher and friends...

With her teacher, Mrs. Howard

With the girls, Grayson and Lucy and their new sunglasses from the teachers. And with her "friend" Alden. :) Ha Ha - Only kidding Grandparents. Come on, she's 4!!

The end of her dance recital and last school day were bitter sweet for me. As we layed in bed and talked about the day, Hannah ended it by saying, why do we move so much Mommy?

Again, just bitter sweet.
