January and February Things...

There is so much to catch up, so much to do- but eventually you will get your fill of it all. For now, here are some January and February things you missed.

Daddy celebrated his 39th Birthday - Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

A few weekends ago (while Tom was working in the US), we took a trip to Imire Park with some friends. It was a beautiful day, overcast but so nice. Unfortunately we could not finish our mini safari as it started to do the normal afternoon rain thing around 1pm, but we still had fun.

Piper also celebrated her birthday this month (Feb. 25th)! Happy 8th Birthday to Piper!

 

 

Wild Is Life

We had a fabulous time last Wednesday at the Wild Is Life Trust Animal Sanctuary where they take in injured animals, nurse them back to good health and then sometimes release them back into the wild- if they are ready.  I went with my friend Amy and her friend Nancy visiting from Oklahoma. We had lots of fun!

 

The lady that runs the sanctuary, Roxy, has cared for these animals at her home for about 15 years.  The scenery is all in her front/back yard. Amazing. 

 

Sorry to my Mom and Nonna for never taking you here- had no idea.  It was a bit pricey, but worth every penny. 

 

We also got to see, but were not able to hold- the pangolin.  It is a very rare mammal that few get to see and I am so glad I did!!  It was beautiful!
